Summit Spotlight: Allyn Rosenberger, Director of Marketing

GUWIL’s first-annual Own It Summit is nearly a month away, and our team is working night and day in preparation for the big event. In the weeks leading up to the summit, we will be featuring the young women who are making #OWNIT2014 a reality.

Allyn Rosenberger, COL 2017

Q: What is your role, in a nutshell?

A: Leader of Marketing – I worked with Kelly to develop a marketing plan for the week of ticket sales (we’re behind the nightly social media posts!) and I will promote the summit in the weeks leading up to it.

Q: Who is your role model/ #GirlCrush? and/or what speaker are you most looking forward to?

A: Chelsea Clinton is incredible and definitely my #GirlCrush, but I am most looking forward to Norah O’Donnell.

Q: Favorite moment working on the summit team:

A: The day Kendall and Helen told me I was on the team.  I came onto the team a little later than everyone else and could not have been more thrilled to join them!

Q: What is one example of how you Own It on the daily?

I dress to please myself and no one else.

Q: In three words, what do you hope attendees will walk away with from the summit?

An unforgettable experience!

Q: What’s your dream career?

A: I basically want to be Savanah Guthrie (dream job!), but in ten years, I hope to be an attorney.

Q: On a Saturday you can be found:

A: Doing homework, yoga… or both!

Q: What will get you through the day of the summit?

A: My fabulous summit team :)

In one sentence, give an elevator pitch for:

1) Why an undergraduate woman should attend the summit:

You’re going to make fantastic connections, learn invaluable skills, and have an absolutely INCREDIBLE experience.

2) Why an undergraduate man should attend the summit:

Who wouldn’t want a Man-bassador sticker?!
